Produced by the band with their collaborator Timon Martin (Benne, Ratbag). The album is 100% self-financed and released independently through the band's label, Eureka Music/AWAL.

The album was recorded at their band shed at home, as well as champion Kyle's County Line Recording Studio in the Malibu Hills, Marie Louise’s houseboat in Amsterdam, a dairy farm in Blackwell, UK, Aesium Music House, and the home of their good luck charm Sam Joseph.

Musically as varied as all those recording locations, but the album comes together distinctly Babe Rainbow. Built from their traditional mix of folk and psychedelic sounds, the new record also taps this time on the shoulders of reggae, electronica, and country.

Yasawa Group is the solo project of Matt Taylor, co-founder and former guitarist, songwriter and music director of The Growlers. Following years of recording, touring, and helping build the world around Beach Goth, Taylor launched Yasawa Group as a project with room to shift, evolve, and exist outside the structure of a traditional band. With Yasawa Group, he found a new freedom in songwriting, putting his focus once again into a single vessel, this time one entirely his own. The project began with the ambitious double LP Enter the Chrysalis, a sprawling first statement that introduced Yasawa Group on its own terms.

The name suggests a group, but Yasawa Group is intentionally fluid — led by Taylor and brought to life live by an alternating cast of musicians and collaborators. Each version of the band carries its own energy, making the project less about a fixed lineup and more about movement, change, and the freedom to keep becoming something new. With the upcoming EP Flying Fish, Yasawa Group continues that evolution, opening the next chapter in Taylor’s ever-shifting world.
