Because The Sound is located inside the Del Mar Fairgrounds, your experience includes separate tickets:
🎟️ An All-Day Fair Ticket to enter the fairgrounds (emailed from TicketWeb*)
🎟️ Your Show Ticket for entry into The Sound (will be added to your Ticketmaster app**)
🎟️ Your Parking Pass for those who purchased parking (emailed from TicketWeb***)
Good news! The All-Day Fair Ticket is included with your concert ticket purchase—no additional purchase required.
**It will be sent from TicketWeb the morning of the show—check your inbox between 8:00 and 9:30 AM. The email will be coming from Belly Up Tavern (info@ticketweb.com)
This ticket is valid for entry to the Fair only. Your mobile show ticket is required for entry to the performance at The Sound (see below).

🎟️ **MOBILE TICKETS for the Show Only
Three Simple Steps for Entry to The Sound:
- Open the Ticketmaster app and sign in to your account.
- Tap My Events to access your tickets.
- Add your ticket to your phone’s digital wallet. When you arrive, simply open your ticket and hold your phone near the scanner for entry.
Important: We don’t accept screenshots or printouts. The barcode refreshes every few minutes, and you must display it in the Ticketmaster app or your digital wallet.
If you’re unable to access the Ticketmaster app or prefer not to use your digital wallet, please visit the Will Call window with your valid ID and order/account number. Our box office team will be happy to assist you.

- Doors open one hour before showtime.
- The Box Office opens 2 1/2 hours before showtime.
We recommend arriving early to allow time for parking, entry, and grabbing food or drinks before the show begins.

During the Fair, parking fills quickly, so please plan accordingly.
*** For those who purchased parking you will receive your parking pass from TicketWeb (info@ticketweb.com). For Fair Nights shows this email is separate from your All-Day Fair Ticket.
- Premium Parking – $31 Park directly in front of The Sound. Spots are limited — buy in advance.
- General Parking – $20 Enter through the Main Gate. First-come, first-served — pay on arrival.

The Sound is a cash-free venue. Accepted payment methods include:

🎒 BAG POLICY
- Small purses and fanny packs are permitted.
- Backpacks, camera bags, and bags larger than 10” x 8” x 8” are not allowed.
To keep everyone safe, our security team may conduct pat-down checks and reserves the right to deny or remove anyone from the venue.

👨👩👧 All Ages Shows
- Anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent, guardian, or responsible adult over the age of 25 with written authorization.
- Everyone needs a ticket, regardless of age.
- We strongly recommend leaving little ones at home.
- Children under 7 must wear hearing protection.
- We do not have infant changing facilities within the venue.
